This is a site to promote the profession of Dental Assisting in the State of New York

If you do not have a license to practice Dental Assisting and you are doing the duties of a licensed dental assistant, you are breaking the law.  Holding the DANB credential CDA is not a New York state license. Click on one of the links below to learn more, ignorance of the law is not an excuse to break the law.

While we represent ALL dental assistants in NY, we strongly encourage education and licensure. We are Dental Assistants and we are a profession, help us get stronger, join your professional organization.
